They're fantastic!
I'll have to make some for mine, they're named Mr Duke & Dr Gonzo after the characters in "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas" so they need a huge drug stash.

Unfortunatly my cats don't get chilled on catnip, they get vicious. No catnip toy I've made them has lasted more than 30 minutes, then when they've done with the toy they start destroying random objects or each other, or me.

We haven't let them have catnip for a few years, (following an event where they managed to get in a drawer where we kept the box of catnip) but now they're a bit older and calmer they might be okay...

Those toys are fantastic!  Thanks for the awesome ideas - my cats would love it!

I always hesitate to buy them the mousie toys, thinking it might distract them from their actual hunting duties of keeping real mice from getting into the cereal boxes.  But if I made them their own little beer cans, maybe they wouldn't be interested in knocking over mine!

You should sell those, they're really funny!

Heh heh - I knew I couldn't be the only one who'd had the idea for a cigarette catnip stuffy, although my thought process was inspired by the statement to a friend that if the cat had a cigarette hanging out of its mouth, it'd look just like him  Grin
