I wanted to share a picture of the beaded fruit i made following the instructions from the book.
My grandma had beaded fruit when i was little and i always loved it. i was so happy to see this project that i had to make it right away.

i've also made the popsicle stick purse but i keep forgetting to take a picture.

I love sparkly fake fruit for some reason. These are adorable! Are they done with pins and sequins? Smiley

Thanks ya'll. It didn't take too long but my fingers were a little sore from pushing in the pins. lol

I used plastic beads and sequin pins......lots of 'em. I still have two lemons and an apple to add to the bowl.

ive been making christmas ornaments the same way as beaded fruit (though with  styrofoam balls) for almost a year, ive found if you use the sequins that come pre-stranded it makes it go a lot faster and a bit easier. just start in one spot and spiral around. you can also make them without a loop to hang with and use them as a bowl filler. if i get a chance ill post a picture or two.
