it seems that the sewing project threads are becoming overpopulated with many cute and creative variations on the jordy bag, to the point that perhaps it would be good to have a topic all their own?

Good idea.  I was thinking about this too.  I'm thinking of making a few subcategories within purses:

Jordy purses
juice pouch purses
hardcover book purses

Any others?

Maybe the title of the tutorial thread could be changed to add AKA Jordy bag, because a lot of confusion and question posts happen because of the title...

(I'm sure this sounds like a short toned post, my brain is fried, sorry)

I agree with the aka jordy bag thing. now ive been here for a bit and understand what it is, but at first i was very lost, i couldnt understand why everyone was calling a purse a jordy bag.
