I'm planning on starting a crafting group. Anyone interested? The plan is that we'll meet once or twice a week at either my house or the Whitehall library.

Hey, that's not too far from me.  I just started a knitting/crochet/whatever yahoogroup at

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stitches_east_side/

for people who want an east-side alternative "SnB."  I'm part of the downtown knitter group and will remain so, but I wanted to provide another option "out east," places and times TBA.

Your group and mine may end up with some overlapping membership.  Smiley

What kinds of crafting did you have in mind?  I have to admit I have only been in knitting & crochet groups so far.

Any sort of travel craft. I knit, crochet, hand sew clothing, cross-stitch, and i know others can do many other things. The possibilities are ENDLESS!!

I needed a crafting group in this area since I don't drive...and overlapping groups is a wonderful thing.

I'd be into that. I don't knit, but I do lots of other crafts that I could work on at an S&B!  And I live on the East side.
