Last night I was reading about H.G. Wells' The Invisible Man and I was thoroughly compelled to make this pincushion. It's kind of a play on the negative bias of albinos being deranged or evil and stuff. I was totally geeked about it while making it ("Man, this is gonna be totally profound!") but now I don't find it all that swift. If anybody digs it I'd be happy to trade it!

The back was originally gonna read "evil albino" but because it was around 2 in the morning I was far too delirious to stitch any more than I had to.

By the way, he's about 3.5 inches from nose to tail (diagonally).

Ah! I love it! I should so make one for my best friend, who has albinism. She is always talking about the 'evil albino' thing.

I think it's totally profound, and you should be proud of your work. Especially, since it's your OWN. I love to see work that's inspired by literature.
