i dont if it is because i am itching to knit more but i definetely love this issue! there are things i wouldnt want to knit (like the felted bag, it is too boxy and dull loking to my taste) but entire issue is full with great goodies (it is great after the extremities theme they have which was a quite terrible issue)...

Good issue. Lots of socks and sweaters, which is what I like to knit for the most part. I'm happy!

Nah, I don't think you can have "too many" sock patterns. Then again I'm hooked on the knitting-crack that is sock knitting. Wink

I'm thrilled with the number of sock patterns I've seen everywhere lately. I'm a bit picky so I like having a ton of choices and inspirations.

Knitwit - which patterns is yours?  Inquiring minds want to know...

I'm so glad to see such a great issue.  I am not a sock knitter but I do love to look at them & many of my knitting buds are so I am always interested in those patterns - those socks knit flat & sewn are genius even if they are cheating just a little (which I love).  but all of the patterns are nice this go round.  Generally I end up not knitting anything out of the current issue but going back later & falling in love with something.  For example, now I'm about to start on the sock monkey hats as gifts for my nieces & I just bought some yummy cashmere to make Fetching.  Then this morning I found myself hooked on Carpathia - I hadn't really considered knitting any of them until now.

Plus I'm currently knitting a sweater from an issue several years ago (Sonnet).  Oh how I love Knitty....

Nice of you to ask. It's the back to school washcloths. I've been keeping quiet about it cause I feel like they may be the oddball pattern in the issue!

I love 'em.  Just have to think of something else to put on them as I'm just a LITTLE out of college!   Wink
