It's my first post on this fabulous site, so I thought I would show you the little chair I made for my ongoing 'Boudoir' project.  I love our bedroom clutter free and minimalist (my hubby hides all my girl junk!) but I needed a place for all my girly things, so I commandeered the spare room as my Boudoir Smiley

Take one old chair, covered in paint and spiders found in a Garage

Sand, paint scarlet, pad the seat and cover with Alexander Henry tattoo fabric.  Add finishing touches of red trim and black satin bows and voila..............

I have another one thats going to be black and with peach leopard print Smiley

The bows do really add something! Kinda has a goth ice cream parlour thing going on. :-) Very fun.

Awesome! It's kind of Moulin-Rougey except more hardcore  Grin The bows definately make the chair. You should post pictures of this boudoir room when it's all done!

I took the seat off (it kinda was secured underneath, so the chair framed the seet) and padded it, then put it back.  The red lace is hot glue and tacked on Smiley

Unfortunately I have to get rid of it, as I am moving into an apartment and don't have room for it Sad
