I forgot about that nasty Airwaves gum! My boyfriend loves it, but anything black licorice just doesn't work for me.

I have yet to try it but now I have to today - I'll let you know what I think of it.  The other candy has been great!

Okay, Banga, I tried the Airwaves black mint gum and.......................it's FANTASTIC!  If we had that flavor in Canada, I'd be buying it on a regular basis  Shocked

I've been delinquent in posting pictures, and I apologize. THe following is my surprise package from Miss Mermaid Strikes Back:

A fantastic green brocade needle roll. I had to take all my needles back out of it for this picture! It fits a ton of them.

And a marvelous Amish Puzzle Ball! I have been craving one of these since they started popping up all over craftster.

Thank you, Miss Mermaid!

Another delinquent post: Here is the crafty supply box that I gto from orange_sunset. You would not believe how much RAAR grr ugggh stuff was crammed into one flat rate postage box!

A few highlights...zippers, fabric, a bag full of beads, tassels, yarn ends (PERFECT for the scrap shawl I'm working on), and some really cool paper.

Thank you, orange_sunset! Sorry it took me so long to get pics up.

I received from mlwl and.. WOAH!  She sent me FIVE (!!!!) pairs of RAAR grr ugggh earrings. Every one of which, if I had seen them in a store I would have snatched them up!  She also sent me some pretty stitch markers, which I desperately needed.  I'll post pictures as soon as I can pry the digital camera out of my roommates cold sweaty grasp.

Thanks so much mlwl!!!  They're perfect!!  (I'm wearing the green ones right now!) Grin

I know this particular chainswarm is way past - but I just wanted to show off something I made with some of the fabric that Orange Sunset sent me..
I also used one of the zippers for this project as well...

I made a padded zippered pouch for my embroidery machine hoops and whatnot for when I take the machine to and from class/club.... I used a attack here on craftster for the lined zippered pouch but also used some quilt batting to pad it - I wanted to protect the hoops as best as I could.  I eat this particular fabric and was so happy with the way it came out.  I can't wait to take it to quilting class tomorrow! (yes, I am joining the quilting group too - they said they will get me started on my first square tomorrow - squeee!)

I have actually used a lot of the fabric she sent me already - they were so my colors and I have been eating using it all - I have made a few simple stuffies and a few pouches and whatnot... in fact the pile of my fave 3 fabrics that she sent me are all but gone - as well as a good chunk of the others!  I have just loved it all.

Okay. that's all I wanted to say.  I always wonder what becomes of the supplies I send out to others - I thought maybe someone else wonders what happens to what they send me... been using it!!!

That looks somewhat like upholstery fabric from the pic.  It's very pretty.  Silky?

It's a cotton.  It is so pretty.  I just eat it - and it is just perfect for my embroidery machine big hoops.

I am on a zippered bag making binge now...
