The woman at the fabric store here had told me that she uses ironing board covers to line her potholders.  My mother uses cotton batting.  Another person I ran into said she uses flannel shirts and old jeans.  Just cotton cotton cotton.

You can buy cotton quilt batting that's super thick and is actually designed for "kitchen crafts." I use this for my own potholders. You don't want to do laps around the house while holding hot pans, but they are just fine for transferring thing from oven to countertop!  Cheesy

I got this fantastic death-head's moth shirt from chittybangbang!  And she threw in a bonus felt patch so I can put it on something else!



The baby is one day late now and getting into this cool shirt is one MORE reason I want it out now!  Grin

hey...one day late isnt bad.  my friend was nearly a month late.  she ended up having her baby the day before they scheduled to get her into an OR for a Csection.  haha

could be worse!
