I've seen some boards that have a little scroll bar of color themes (ones that don't change the actual layout, just simply the colors) that are pre-made but that offer a wider range of options.

Craftster has those, just not in a scroll bar.  Click on your Profile tab, then go to "Look and Layout Preferences" (which is under "Modify Your Profile" on the left side of the screen).  There are a bunch of different options; some alter the layout, but others just change the colors.  The last one in the list does affect the layout, and it's mostly black on white--but it looks like it uses a heavier font.

The problem isn't the header colors but rather the entire background behind the main body of text.  I have tried all of the themes that are available but they don't change the text  body background.

I've gotten used to highlighting the text and going from there after browsing the board for awhile so it's really not a big deal.  I was only wondering if there was something that I had overlooked.

Thanks though!   Smiley

So many things fail to interest us, simply because they don't find in us enough surfaces on which to live, and what we have to do then is to increase the number of planes in our mind, so that a much larger number of themes can find a place in it at the same time.

I need to say that I don't have an issue with the forum on my computer. TheBoy's windows xp laptop appears to render the font quite a bit differently than my mac os 10 laptop. It just happened that when I was checking yesterday we only had his with us. So, who knows?

Hey, Leah (thanks, btw), I don't know if anyone's mentioned this or not, but when you click on the "new" icon in bookmarks, it takes you to the first page of that thread, not the newest post.
Clicking the icon sends you to http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=00000.from;topicseen#new (which takes you to page one of post # 00000) instead of http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=00000.new;topicseen#new (which will take you to the newest entry for post # 00000)

Ah ha... Thanks pfirsch. I changed the code the way you suggested and I think it works now!

It looks like you made the headers bolder.  Did you or have I just had too much caffeine already this morning?

Leah... is this problem related to the upgrade?

I just noticed that many of the pictures in my gallery on Craftster have been duplicated; they show two notations for the size.

Is this a known issue with the picture gallery?  Is there anything I can do about this?

Yep -- lots of people seemed to say they were hard to read. So I bumped them up in size and boldness. Does it look better?

I didn't have a problem with it before really, but I can notice the difference...so it must be!  The text is quite a bit bolder and I'm sure my eyes are thanking you.  Smiley

Leah,

Just wanted to add my thank you for all the recent changes!

And an especially big thank you for fixing the issue with the 'new' button on the Bookmarks feature! I had no idea how much I used that until I couldn't anymore.  Wink

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
