I have 3x 50g balls of a soft, slubby yarn that knits up on 8mm needles (but would go smaller with no probs) I REALLY want to make a shrug, a 'one skein wonder' type thing, with short, cap sleeves.

Anyone seen something like this??  Huh

I have made my own simple pattern up before (its somewhere on Craftster, calle 'the bathroom shRUG') but it was most forgiving, the bobbly yarn meant any untidyness didnt show!! This stuff, however, will have to be from a definate pattern.  Roll Eyes

If you do a search, on craftster, using the term 'shrug' you will find a ton of 'em.

I made a shrug by knitting a top down raglan and leaving off the front part--just knitting the back and sleeves.  You'll need to increase one at the edges too to make sure the sleeves come out correctly.
