Hi! Normally when I use Craftster I get a variety of ads that are generally stuff related to crafting, but this past week every time I visit a site thats some kind of a store, its filling every single ad space on Craftster until I visit another store. This has happened to me over 10 times the past few days, theres no way its a coincedenceI, like I first thought. Its really bothering me.
How is Craftster tracking what web sites I go on? Is this happening to any of you?

It hasn't done that with the sites I've visited, but it will show the same ad for one of the others in multiple boxes. Several times I've had them all be the "Craftster Quickies" ad rather than the paying ads, but it's been at least a week since that was happening. A Cafe Press ad that came up when I was in (I think) the Photo Hosting area kept bringing up images of one of their user's shops that I looked at, and that was annoying, so I just cleared out the Temporary Internet Files on my computer to take care of it.

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

Hi there!  Not a coincidence!  This actually shouldn't be a new experience for you, though.  Some of our ad networks have been doing this for years.  You should notice certain websites, if you've recently visited them, and even some ads that might be local to just your city or location.

Many ad systems (such as ours) use your temporary browsing information and/or cookies to tailor the ad experience to the user.  If you clear your browser cache and cookies, you'll get a fresh set of ads.

Do more of what makes you happy.
