My boyfriend is a big Dallas Cowboys fan, so I made these for him just in time for football season.  He adores them so much he shows them off to his friends when they come over!  I'm VERY pleased with how they turned out too.  These were definately the coolest things I've ever crocheted.  The pillow was challenging, and the blanket was sooooo fun to make!  The blanket was from this pattern http://www.angelfire.com/va3/heartfeltangels/littlestarafghan.html instead I just used a J hook, Red Heart yarn, and made it big enough to be "boyfriend" sized instead of baby sized.  For the pillow I googled dallas cowboy star, found a picture, and had it graphed out at http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/.  Doesn't really match our leopard print bedspread though  Tongue oh well!
