I use a standard sized 3-inch D ring binder and DVD pages (like the ones for CDs but they're wider to allow for the flattened box art, I think).  I label them with index labels (with different colors for different lengths like the 16" all have green labels with the size number on them).  Like so:

The rest of my apartment looks like a crazy old lady's basement.

once a couple months ago i was at joann's and i found a roll-up needle organizer... sort of like that one subloke posted except then you tuck the needles in and roll it up and tie a sort of shoelace cord around it... saves space if you dont want to display ur circs on your wall

i dont use it much but it seems that itd work... i have the boye needlemaster set so i only have a few loose circs

Awesome!  This is what I was thinking along the lines of but would not have thought of the DVD sleeves.  Thank you!  I like to have them tucked out of sight.  =)

I made myself this hanging organizer for my circs:

I saw something like it somewhere on line and since I am cheap crafty I made one for myself out of some scrap fabrics.  I tacked it to the end of my bookshelf in my living room so it is almost completely out of the way, but very accessible.

I like it because it keeps the circs "relaxed" so that once I have the cords un-coiled they stay that way.  As you can see I have quite the collection, and this way I can keep the different lengths of circs together by size.

SNB has a pattern for one of these.

That rocks.  I keep all of my patterns in a 3 ring notebook so I could just throw a couple of DVD holders in the back.

You may have saved my life.

I want one of those hang-y ones but I simpy cannot bring myself to even think seriously about making one without a sewing machine. Tongue

Hmm... maybe fabric glue? That just occurred to me.

Besides that I'm pretty sure I'm getting the Options set for Christmas so maybe I won't need one after that.

For now I keep mine in the bags they came in and stuffed in my zip up needle organizer. This works fine for Addis but sucks for Susan Bates/ Boye/ etc. Since I rarely use the SBs and Boyes I don't have too much of a problem there.
