so i've decided to frog a top down raglan that didn't come out right and make this instead...does anyone have the gauge info?  i don't see anything on the pattern...

I believe it is 15s, 20R = 4 inches.

My gauge is off a bit (with different yarn).  It is about 16s, 22R = 4 inches.

i finished knitting my sweater o' many buttons only to find that the middle is a little large, so i need to add some waist shaping...any hints on that??

OK I need help here. This pattern is totally confusing me. When you place the markers, it tells you to place one 6 stitches in, just after the button band. But the increases call for you to knit to 1 stitch before the marker and increase there...IN the button band? Is that right? It doesn't seem right.

Please help.

Idk, my button band was actually 5 stitches.

I'd just place the marker 7 stitches in. Won't make a big difference, and you won't be increasing in the button band.
