As far as I know the creator of the pattern is on vacation (or at least that's what it says in her knitting blog), so I don't know when it will be back up...

the site being down is probably a bandwidth issue...so many people hitting the pattern because of blog links and knitalongs that her hosting company has shut it down.

probably wouldn't be a bad idea for the knitalong folks to donate to her hosting costs when it's back up to show appreciation for posting such a rad pattern for free. =]

eta:  if you want to see the pattern in the meantime, google stores a cache.  run a google search on "pbuttony" and click the "Cached" hyperlink at the end of the first search result.  at least then you're dragging off of google's bandwith.

Wow, I had no clue about the cache thing...thanks!

I'm in love with this sweater, but really cannot afford the Debbie Bliss, as lovely as it is to work with.  Thusly, I'm going to order KnitPick's new line called Swish Superwash in the color Dublin.

How exciting!

Note on the increases: you could knit in the front and back of a stitch, though that tends to pull a little too.  Guess it's just the nature of the beast.

I'm making one with size two needles and Berroco Ultra Alpaca in this beautiful dark blue color.  The resulting fabric is soft in the hands, but a little scratchy when I try it on, but it's so beautiful I don't care.  That and it's got gorgeous drape.  Well, it looks dark blue, but if you stare at it like I have, it's actually got a lot of green in it.  Anyway, I have done extensive amounts of math (including waist shaping) and I've got eight buttonholes.  It reaches about the top of my hips so far.  And I prefer to use something subtler than ribbing, so I used a provisional cast on and folded ten rows with a row of purl on the right side (though I hate purl, so I think it's technically knit on the wrong side) at the collar.

i'd perhaps be interested in doing this...i just started my first sweater the other day (see the first sweater knitalong haha) and if it continues as well as it's going right now i should be done by the end of the month, and quite willing to start a new one! i need more warm sweaters for winter...

in the pine sol-scented air, somewhere that's green...

ok, so i haven't ever knit a sweater, and i think i want to try, but so far i have only knit scarves and socks. A couple of the abbreviations dont make sense to me, and i'm sure they're common but i dont recognize them, so could someone tell me what "pm" means in row 7

Row 7: (RS) Slip 1, K 5, pm, K 13, pm, K 32, pm, K 13, pm, K to end

It means to place a stitch marker.  It looks like it's to mark the sleeves.
