cuervo on the rocks ... salted rim

I know a little girl who's dressing up as a pumpkin this year so I made this hat for her.  It fits her perfectly and it covers her little ears in case it's cold and windy that night.

Adorable.  Simply adorable.  This would be a fun pattern to "funkify" with double-stitched scary jackolantern faces too!

I'm inspired!

Thanks for the nice comments and thanks also for the suggestion, nhindes.  There's still lots of time between now and Hallowe'en to "funkify" the hat.

Aww. I made one for a baby only the yarn at the top was just strings. It looks more like a carrot.

Great job!

Hats that look like food or fruits/vegetables are always so cute. I also like the jack-o-lantern idea. Clever.

I used this pattern:  http://knitting.about.com/library/blpumpkin.htm   I liked the way the stem curled.
