Yay, my first post of a finished project~  Grin

I made a lolita style inspired hoodie out of acrylic yarn~ ^ ^ (so it's really, really warm.)

I call the design "Black Sugar". I used the drop shoulder pattern from The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, and I used a crochet shell edging on all of the edges.

It took exactly a week and a half to knit, worsted weight yarn on size 5 needles, knitting almost 6 hours a day total. I almost wanted to trash it, because it was so boring and hard on my hands doing all stockinette stitch, but I somehow managed to do it while watching TV.
I'm really glad I didn't trash it now. Cheesy

(sorry the pictures are so craptacular, my camera is really awful.)

The people at the fabricland must think I'm really stupid, because it took me 6 times before I finally bought the right zipper. ^  ^'

It's gorgeous.I love the intarsia motif and crochet edging. (I also love how it matches your hair & hair clips Smiley.)

I knit a hoodie with a zip a while ago and it went wrong  Undecided I couldn't attach the zip in properly.
