So heylo  Grin This is my first post and decided to join in the joy of making things. I've seen some amazing stuff on here  and it looked a fun  community so bleh thought id put one of my tops i just done up.

This top wasnt just made for me to wear , it was for me to experiment with felt and how well it works on tops and washable. This is the first time i've used it so if any of you have any tips of how to wash it and care for it let me know =] All  i know..obviously..is to wash it on gentle.

Anyway in total this top cost 2.50 to make..not bad heh?
top: 1.50 from primark
Felt sheet x2 in yellow and hot pink : 50p each (1)

After this test run if it comes out well i'll make some more with differant stuff on.

piccies :

yea i know the dinos slightly wonky but im not bothered. Looks better on and you wouldnt really notice it unless you were stairing directly at it. shh its my first try  Cheesy

Zombies are more my thing so i wouldnt say im as dino crazed as it seems alot of the stuff i seen is dino related but didnt want to attempt that so used a dino instead. Looked easier to do. =] Dinos r cute though.

It's cute! I appliqued something on a t-shirt the other day (except it was a heart with ribbon embellishments) and I'd love to know how washing it worked out?

i use felt and polar fleece to applique a lot because it doesn't fray and gives good contrast to the texture of the fabric on the shirt.  I just wash them like regular and it seems to be fine, aside from that it attracts all the lint in the dryer so you have to pick it off before you wear it.
