Here they are... http://www.makingfriends.com/fallcrafts/mummy_jar.htm

They'd be pretty easy for kids to make too, not to mention messy! Cheesy

I received.  Ms. Wumpus, if you have pics I'd love it if you posted them.  My new digital camera and I have yet to bond and are still a little wary of each other.  I think I'm going to buy it a new memory card in the attempt to bribe it into taking decent pictures but I'm sure everyone would like a preview before the action shots.

I opened up the box and was like "OH MY EVER LUVIN JEEBUS!  AWESOME!".  After a run of wonderful but not exactly my style swaps (my fault, I prefer people to make what they enjoy making) it was crazy cool to see what you sent me.  Now I'm really really hoping you like what I sent you.

Oh, and my mama wants to know if you'd like to do a personal swap for  a set of magnets like you sent me.  She does amazing collage work and uses that to make art and cards (like blank greeting cards).  She's also pretty flexible on making other things.  I set her up her own craftster account and if you're interested I'll teach her how to use it so she can PM ya.

Yay, I'm glad you like it! I've got some photos in my camera, I think - I'll post them later today when I find where I put the camera. The magnets were super easy - Ben & Jerry's website (of all places) had a cut-out-skeleton printout that I just stuck on a sticky sheet magnet and podged.

And I'm sure your package will be great, I'm all anticipation  Cheesy

Ok - here's the package that I send to Evil_Abbe!.  There was one large item and a bunch of small-to-nano items.

First, the large item. Evil_Abbe had requested help with her Halloween costume, Sora from Kingdom Hearts in the Halloweentown getup.  This is the jacket that Sora is wearing, it is bull denim with vinyl appliques and vinyl wings in the back. I hope it fits, Evil_Abbe - but it should be possible to alter it at the seams if needed.  I hadn't tried this type of wing before, and they are a bit floppy.

Now the smaller items:

There is a craft foam mask for the Sora outfit, a mix cd of Halloween-esque music (hope you like the 80s Smiley ), two storebought items: an owl cookie cutter and skeleton socks, and an edward gorey pillow.

here is a closeup of the pillow - it has t-shirt transfers for the image, and the backing fabric is some leftover hemp. The front has a gorey image of a Blake quote "The Bat that flits at close of eve/has left the brain that won't believe"; on the back is a small image of a creepy cloaked figure in a graveyard.

I forgot to take a picture of the skeleton, but here is the page where I got the picture: http://www.benjerry.com/fun_stuff/holidays/halloween/crafts/index.cfm

So does this mean this is a spoiler? I couldn't wait! Here is the stuff I sent off today to chimerix. There are 2 purses (that is what I do best) the large skull one with a matching coin purse. A red and white striped purse that I stenciled bats on and detailed the side with lil bows and bats (she likes bats). The rest are hair accessories, a pair of spider earrings and a Halloween themed charm bracelet. Oh and the T-shirt with bats used from the same stencil I used on the purse. I am kinda nervous and hope she likes everything!
