Where have all the Darcy's gone?

I made this purse for my friend Lucy...hence the profusion of L's... I was inspired by all the initial bags and wallets I've seen by fancy designers. I cut the letters out of old magazines (which took a very long time), then taped them with packing tape and coated the inside with black duct tape.

I really like it! was it difficult to cover the inside and then put the pieces together to get the bag?

No, putting it together was very easy. I made the two sides first, lined them with duct tape, and then taped the sides and bottom (already lined as well) in one piece along the edge. The hardest part was cutting out all those L's!  Smiley
