So, I just got my first sewing machine yesterday!  I was experimenting a little, refreshing my skills (I learned how to sew years ago, and every few years I get the bug to sew, so I broke down and decided to get serious about it), and I came up with this:

It's a cardholder or wallet thingee.

(Sorry about the bad quality of the photos...)

I even figured out how to make a button hole!  (With the help of my machine manual.)

What do you think?

You don't have to get it right the first time, just the last time.

Nope, I didn't have any stabillizer or interfacing or anything, and I was just playing, so it's fairly floppy, but it holds a lot of cards that way, so I don't mind...
