Need some constructive criticism on what to change to improve the site.   What works and doesn't work?
See any typos that I missed?
Any dead links?
Is the navigation easy to use?
Any improvement suggestions for the navigation?
What would you do to improve the home page to make it more interesting and pull the visitor inside to buy?
Any suggestions for a new logo?  I'm trying to figure out my branding.

You know how you look at something for so long that you can't see your mistakes anymore?  I'm at that stage...

TIA for any suggestions.
BTW, just found this website and think it is great.

BEAUTIFUL!  The site looks very professional, the links seem to work, and the product is gorgeous and different.  I wish I were a better seamstress...and that I had a nice enough house to have one of these valances :-)  Nice job.

Your site is very professional and looks great.  It's really nice.

However, the prices aren't listed anywhere.  The customer has to add an item to the cart before they see how much something costs.

Also, maybe one larger picture on the home page?  I think the smaller pictures don't do the items justice.  Or maybe some pictures of the valances in a room.  I'm not very good at home decor, so I like to see the items in use to get ideas of how I could use them in my rooms.  It would give some ideas of how the valances fit in with other items, or how they work with different window sizes.

Thanks.   Evidently the prices got lost somewhere in the last revision or two.   Perfect example of something being obvious to everyone else, when it has been staring me in the face and I haven't seen it.    Roll Eyes

Anything else glaringly missing?

i'm viewing the site in mozilla firefox, and some of your navigation on the left hand side overlaps and it's tough to read. i agree with making the pictures on the home page larger too.

Can you tell me which navigation items overlap?  Thanks!

I like the layout, but there are way too many color schemes going on with the text (pink, purple, black, red, green, blue, etc).  The home page allows me to scroll down, but there is quite a bit of empty space.  Actually, this happens on almost every page, is this intentional?  and does it have anything to do with the link for "ad free stats?" (Maybe it is b/c i am using Mozilla which basically runs netscapes code... or something like that)

Also, I just took a look at your code...... Why are you using frames when you have one defined as taking up 100% of the screen?

I am not a prof. web designer, but it has been my hobby for years and this is just my 2 cents.  Undecided

hmm, it's not overlapping for me anymore, so that's good. but i did notice that the photos are misaligned in the photo gallery. some are left alighned within their frame, and others are left aligned starting in the menu bar on the left side.

The backgound texture is so light I can barely see it , and I also noticed a very large blank space as I scroll down . And no prices ?  I'm viewing at 1024 x 768 using Internet Explorer 6.0
