Hi  Grin I've been given a project at college to design and make a 3 piece outfit inspired by 1920's day or sports wear but NOT evening wear...! I'm finding it really hard finding inspiration, so I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas of what I could do?? I thought about a coat but everybody seemed to do that who had this project last year... any help would be GREATLY appreciated! lol Lou xxx  Grin

This is sorta what I was thinking.

This site has lots of recruitment type posters for women.

But Rosie the Riveter might be to late.

When my great grandmother passed away last year we got her old Workbook magazines that date back to the 1920's. They are amazing to look through!

Remember that WWII is 1940's, not 20's. For 1920's think Prohibition.

I don't know where you could find old workbook magazines, I googled around and didn't see anything about the old ones. maybe ebay, unless you happen to know an old lady who subscribed to them (and kept them!). If they weren't at my mom's house I would offer to scan a couple pages.
