I've recently connected with an old friend and found out that his wife is due to give birth any day now.  Of course I couldn't let this opportunity pass by.  A little background info:  my friend is currently the singer in a punk band and used to sing for an old school NY hardcore band.  They've been calling the as yet unborn baby "Spike" so I figured since all good hardcore boys have the old english tattoo on their stomachs, baby Spike should have one as well.

And I couldn't forget about mom, so....

how cute! it looks great

Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.

I LOVE that!  It almost makes me wish I had a baby to make one for  Wink

I've been in trouble ever since I set my suitcase down.

How adorable!!  I love the mom tat!  I was bored the other day and gave my son some inkpen mom tats... I guess I should've gotten a fabric pen and a onesie so I could've shown them off!  Tongue  He was really funny pullin up his sleeve to show daddy though!

Thanks Ladies,

You are too kind  Grin  I don't have too many friends with children, let alone friends who would appreciate this style.  They're a little more, um, traditional.  It was alot of fun stiching this and it made me giggle.

I love the Mom heart! What an adorable onesie!

How did you manage to embroider on the little tiny sleeve like that? This is totally something I've wanted to do but have been defeated by the small size.
