WOOHOOOOOO!!!  I got a bead cabinet! Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

I am so excited and so very organized now, I can't believe it!  No more little baggies, no more varieties of jars... everything is together, in one place, color coordinated and... did I mention organized?? Wink    The smaller drawers have insert trays to keep beads separated.  The larger drawers are plain and have been a great way to store my seed beads.

Forgive my giddiness.   Shocked  I keep finding myself opening the drawers and staring at everything.  It's like seeing everything for the first time.

Here is where my album is to view the pictures:

Okay, back to graze again.... Grin  Grin  Grin

I first saw it in an ad in a bead magazine.  You can find the website here :

http://www.bestscrapbookshelf.com/

It's actually a scrapbook shelf originally, but I guess they must've had the idea that poor, disorganized beaders needed something too so they sell those tray inserts now!

They have a few different styles, from large wall units to desk top cubes.  I guess they're all stackable.  You can pick what size drawers will best suit your needs.  The unit I got had space for 19 of the 1 inch drawers.  I opted for 13 of those and then 3 of the 2 inch drawers for seed tube storage.  I figured out, in the 13 drawers, I have 390 storage squares!  There's only one drawer that has some squares empty, maybe like 15 of them. lol

I went with what would best work with my space, but if you have more stuff you can get the taller unit.  It also comes in darker wood with black drawers.  I love the white drawers because they offer a great background for the beads.  Their stuff isn't cheap, but this was a combination birthday present to myself and saving my own sanity.  It worked.  Now it makes me WANT to create.

I guess if you do other crafts, it would suit your needs as well.... you could organize anything in these drawers.....  tools, fabrics, rubber stamps, etc... along with the scrapbooking paper and supplies.  The great thing is you can pick and choose which pieces best work for what YOU need.

No, I don't work for these people, but I should!  I'd pimp this thing from coast to coast helping to save the sanity of other disoraganized crafters~!
