I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

bubba*tink, the bags you made for atsuko are beautiful.
I especially like the way you made the handles. I' ve seen them made out of leather but not fabric. Do you use interfacing? Could I found a pattern for the handles in fabric stores or department stores?

I did a few personal swaps for ATCs and decided to post my lovely wonders received here:

First, A lovely hand appliqued cherry ATC, from RecycleMicol, AND  My G is for Goat ATC (for the ABC set) from the 1 and only: GoatGoddess

One of the best parts about swapping ATCs with these 2 ladies is they only live an hour aways, so our mail always comes the very next day!

Here are my E is for Elephant (on the tiny rectangles), and F for FELT (and flowers)!  Both by Phizzychick!

It came all the way from across the pond, so we decide to throw in a little bit of paper and ephemera for each other too!  Here's that loot:

Fun stuff!  Playing cards, mini cards, fairy cards, snoopy stickers, 2 fable character cards, some square do-hickeys, more cards, papers, stickers....
bottom row: fun strawberry papers, # stickers, some funny stationary (edited with an astronaut doodad...use your imagination), and a slip of paper in an unknown oriental language!
Awesome!

And more stuff (the 'serious' stuff):

Cardstock and 'art'card, an England Chicken restaurant postcard, STAMPS from India, Singapore, NZ, and UK
2nd row: tickets, a little camera booklet and TONS of cool papers from books...dictionarie s, palm reading, cooking, etc.  NEAT!
On the far right is some heavy penguin papers...I'll have to ask her, it almost feels like an iron on
And, at the bottom (over the papers) a giant leaf/floral/branch diecut!  It is TOO cool!  I think I will use spray adhesive and use it for a design on a painting!

Thanks, Phizzychick, for the 2 ATCs and paper wonders!  And RecycleMicol and GoatGoddess for the cool ATCs!

(P.S.  I can't wait til Phizzychick posts her loot and tells you what was on the envelope when it arrived!  Lovely postal workers!)

Yep, I use fusible interfacing.  The handles are super easy to make!  All you do it cut out long rectangles, iron on some interfacing, fold the edges in, and fold the entire thing in half.  Then sew it on the long open side.  Then fold it in half again, and sew it all up the side except for two inches on the top and the bottom.  It's that simple!

And I've received 2 awesome cards from Original Youth! Grin

One full of piratey goodness, and one full of bugs!

And a whole heap of papery goodness - some of which isn't pictured as I've already started to use it (oops!) That just shows how fab it all was though! There's stamps, newspaper, gold doily, awesome stamped paper - some with my name on!, polar bear stamped paper, fruity paper, transparancies, a hole heap of brilliant stuff!

Thank you so much Original Youth!

EDIT: Although I completely forgot to say that my package attived in a Royal Mail plastic bag with an appology about its condition...it had been run over no less!! Shocked It has tire marks going across it for goodness sake! Luckily nothing was damaged!

Hi Bubba*tink!

Woot! So glad that you had fun wearing your earrings at a nice dinner!!

Can you believe we are still sorting out who is getting which bag?  I modeled the bags for my mom and she agreed with my sis that the turtle one suits her better.  I still love my owl bag.  I love the kitten one to though.  Decisions, decisions.

Have a great weekend all!!
