Someone mentioned an 80s stitchalong in another thread, and there was some interest, so I decided to start a new post about it.

Stitch up anything having to do with the 1980s-- NKOTB, 80s cartoons,Tears for Fears, etc.
I know there are some great coloring books and printable coloring pages of 80s cartoons (and NKOTB!) that would make great transfers.

Post your ideas, and get stitching!  Smiley

You came in from the darkness and held the door open wide
You stood there like a vision before my unbelieving eyes
I believe in what I see and also what I hear
But did the night play tricks on me or were you really there.

Nagle-ish prints would be good too. They are SO 80s and should be easy to make into transfers.

Camellia_Ruth: I saw on the other thread that you had a NKOTB coloring book. Did you happen to track it down? I bet that would make some really great embroidery patterns!  Wink I'm such a goof ball for them  Grin

Mandyhello: That would be a great project! Duran Duran rawks - and that cover is super 80's. Thinking of using a purple pillow case?

I would love to do this stitchalong, but I'm not sure if I would have the time... I hope I can get around to it!  Can't wait to see what everyone else does!

Currently taking a hiatus from swapping.  Sad

amberbrown: You are truly, truly, truly outrageous! Jem is f*** awesome.  Grin

I think some of those pages might be too complicated for embroidery but I'm already thinking about how else I could use them.  Cheesy Thank ya!!
