I love it!  Which colorway did you use?  One skein or two?

I just bought some malabrigo and am happy to see how beautifully it felts.  I'm still trying to decide what to use it for.  I was thinking of My So Called Scarf, but your basket is so cute that I might have to make one of those instead.   Wink

Mistake?  No... it's an Unexpected Design Element.  I put it there on purpose.  *ahem*

How big if your basket?  Did you follow a pattern?  I love the felted baskets in Magical Knitting, but they are 'small' to me.

let's see.  i used less than 1 skien of the Loro Barranquero colorway.  the size is approximately 20" around at the widest point, 3.5" deep, and i didn't use a pattern.  i did use cat bordhi's mobius cast on with a split in it (best way i can think to explain it!), and then sussed out the construction as i went.  it would be super simple to make bigger baskets/bowls than this as well.
