I got an early start on Christmas gifts this year and made this teddy bear for my little 1 1/2 year old cousin.  It probably took 3 hours for the bear, and then another 2 for the sweater.  The sweater design I made up using a skein of Sugar 'n Cream, the teddy bear used one skein of Berroco's Chincilla in an off white color.

Super easy, super cute, and super cheap!

The pattern can be found here: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/harry/harrybear.html.

It's so cute!  I've come across this pattern before and I really want to try it out.  I"m wondering if there's any other yarn I could use instead, since I have a hard time coming across this one.

I was lucky enought to find it at my LYS, but I'm sure you could use any yarn that's fuzzy.

The skein I used was 77 yards, 1.75 ounces, and recommends size 8 (US) needles.  I didn't use all of it, either.

I love your bear!  I made the same one but in a different yarn.  I like yours better!  And the sweater was a nice touch.
