Hey everyone. I'm new here to craftster, so I thought my first post here should be the completed things I've made. These are just a few of the things I've made...most made by my own patterns or just quick and easy patterns..Well, here they are! ^^

This shawl I made for my mom (very easy pattern) ^^

This shawl I made myself ^^ Gotta love blue.

A few potholders I made.

Two hotpads...blue again =D

Simple girls purse I made for a friend.

A simple scarf I made for my friend.

And here are the first two doliies I have ever made!! The first one is about 6" and the other one is around 8".

Probably nothing too impressive, as I am still technically a beginner, but I hope you liked them!

Thanks! I wanted to make one that wrapped around thick like the one Jessica Simpson had in the newlyweds. (God, everyone wants THAT shawl lol). So I attempted a try at one with stitches I knew I could do! Simple project..it came out pretty good. Took only 3 days =)

These are great! I esp. love the shawl - I'm having trouble finding a shawl pattern that I really like. I never would have thought to use grannies - I may have to try this, perhaps converting to a  poncho? Terrific!!  Smiley

Beautiful!!  I like them all!  You do excellent work - and you're a beginner?!?! Shocked
I don't go much for doilies - but your blue ones are beautiful!
Keep up the great crocheting!  Smiley

Your shawls are way cute. Love the potholders. Very nice doilies. Did you use patterns for all of them? Cheesy

The shawls and doilies and potholders and ---yes mostly everything lol--I made the patterns for. And yes, I'm a beginner. My grandmother taught me how to crochet a while ago and just for the past 6 to 7 months I've been really getting into it. My great-grandmother was wonderful at crocheting, she could make almost anything and was crocheting till the day she died. Maybe I have some of her spirit inside me? =P

The granny squares work really good in that shawl, maybe I will make a poncho like it.

Thanks for the good feedback everyone! I can't wait to show you the poncho's I'm crocheting now ^^
