Wow... talk about major home improvements!

That is so cute.  I ALMOST got a doll house when I was lil.  Got the house but the putting it together never fit into my parents schedules & then it got lost.  Oh well.  I'm so happy you are doing it with your daughters.  Hope they appreciate how lucky they are to have a dedicated mom!

& its soooo danged cute.

Ahh, I think that's the best! I've always wanted a fancy doll house, full of things... maybe i'll finally get around to making a more modern one one of these days... Oh... so many ideas are running through my head now- thank you for the inspiration (via a bathroom, lol)!

Your house looks great!!!  You probably know this but Hobby Supply sells dollhouse stuff pretty cheap and pretty good quality!!!  Good luck...a dollhouse can be as much (or more) work than a large size house!  Too fun though!

I'll be putting up pictures of the rest of the rooms as they are finished..... almost there. I'm trying to get a 1950's feel in the rest of the house, especially the kitchen.

kikigirl- do they have a website?

Hey Erin, nice to see you too! I've been around, we must be missing each other!

Sorry...I should have mentioned it earlier...I was pretty lazy.  It's www.miniatures.com  I looked at their fridges and didn't see any fifties style...you might have to modify.  I know ebay has a bunch of mini furniture it sells.  Also, there's tons of clubs.  There's all ages but mostly the older crowd.  Smiley  I love that you're doing it with your daughter.  My mom gave me her dollhouse when she was a kid and I adore it.  It even has some things my grandma had as a kid in it.  You might be starting something in a great way!!!

Great job!!  And such an addicting hobby--I haven't done a full dollhouse, but I do room boxes quite often.  Have you done any more?

I love how you fixed up the bathroom!!!

When I was little, my grandparents brought over the doll house that my mom had when she was a little girl.  I want it in mine so badly, but my mom won't let me have it until I have a real house and children to play with it, lol!

What a wonderful dollhouse. You are doing a terrific job on it and I look forward to seeing the updates as you complete more rooms.

My 9-year old son is so fascinated by my old unfinished dollhouse that I bought him his own for Christmas.
