VERY unconventional wedding cake idea!

I just came across this idea on our wedding photographer's blog (yes...my wedding was almost a year ago, but I still love looking at other weddings!)...anyway, this couple did a Mexican Fiesta theme and they had a giant cake-shaped pinata! How freaking cool is that?

I wish I'd had a pinata at my wedding. Pinatas are always a hit!

ok ok, i want to chuck everything i've done for my wedding, which is is five weeks, and have a mexican fiesta wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you think my fh will go for it

What are upside down margaritas?

I googled "upside down margarita" and found this recipe:

Ingredients
3/4 oz. Tequila
1/4 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Lime Juice

Mixing Instruction:
Pour tequila and Triple Sec into one shot glass, the lime into another. Lie back against bar with a towel on your chest and have a friend pour them both into your mouth at once. Stand up and swallow.

That's awesome.  Those are some gorgeous photos. 

We had a pinata at our wedding.  But it was a dragon pinata, to go with the Medieval theme.  It kept the kids pretty happy.  It was a resiliant bugger.  My husband finally had to pull out his sword and decapitate it, much to the joy of the kiddos.

That is the best wedding anecdote ever! Seriously.

I went to a wedding with a pinata this past March. The kids LOVED it.

And the bride, who was a bit tipsy during her turn, had quite a good time of it, too.
