It is hard to tell from this picture, but this is a really awesome circular sweater with Fair Isle Motifs. I am totally going to make one. I think I am going to use the Elann Pinwheel Sweater as a base, but what about the motifs? Any suggestions on how to plan it out? In wedges?

This is a great website for taking a picture you have and making it into a pattern....

other than that I didn't really find too many fair isle pattern links online.  I've never done fair isle yet, just intarsia...so I can't really give you any hints, sorry.  But I know that there are a lot of good books out there that can help.  Good luck!

Yep, that is what I was thinking, too!  I LOVE the finished product of that sweater, but reading the directions made my head spin.
