Greetings!  I'm new here at craftster, so I hope I'm posting in the right place -- I'm so darn excited about my success, but I couldn't figure out if I should post it with sewing projects or crochet projects.  I decided that ye happy hookers would appreciate it more.

I cut up a pair of glittery jeans and used some scrap fabric to make this super hook holder.  I even added a pocket sized especially for my scissors and a little orange pocket for yarn needles.  I couldn't figure out how to add ribbon to tie the darn thing -- next time I'll sew it into the seams -- but a big grommet did the trick and looks pretty darn cool, if I do say so.  Next time I ride the bus, I'll have the right sized needles right at hand!

Yay!

I'm going to make my next one with a Johnny Depp theme, just cuz I can.  Rock.

literary_tease -

Very cool crochet hook holder! I made one for myself a few weeks ago as my birthday present to myself and I absolutely love it. It's so darn handy and I made mine out of fabric in my stash, so it was "free"!

Great job! I'm sure you're going to find that it comes in handy, especially when working on projects during the day when you're away from home. It makes thing so much easier to pack up & transport!
