This is a piece I completed a few semesters ago.  I have been playing with the idea of combining fine art and craft. I decided to begin creating more work with this theme, and am working on this as the main theme for my undergrad thesis in ceramics.

I just got about 6 molds today of birds! I am excited to get started!

Critiques welcome!

If I can't be my own, I'd feel better dead.

It's very clean and beutiful.  You should show us some more of your work once you finish it.  I just started my 3d design class this semester, but we're just working with cardboard right now  Tongue.

Thanks! I will be updating...I just cast some of the birds tonight! They are great, and they look really good when they get smashed. Who would have thought? I am ready to get started!
