I have 3 balls of Rowan Kidsilk haze sitting around and have no idea what to do with it.  See, I was planning on knitting Butterfly, but I started it and discovered that it was a little above my level.  So now I have this beautiful yarn and no clue what to do with it.  Any suggestions welcome.  Thanks.

A lace scarf/stole?  Even feather & fan (simple lace pattern) is very pretty in kidsilk haze.

I agree!
OR you could make a really pretty openwork tunic.... make a basic sweater on super large needles, or use a nice open pattern like cat's eye lace.

If you can crochet, KSH makes a beautiful granny square scarf, or you could make gloves/handwarmers and a scribble lace scarf (gloves only take up one ball of KSH, and scribble lace is just straight knitting but with a thick yarn thrown in for 1 row every few rows).  You could even just make a really simple vest without the lace pattern, and just knit it on big needles to make it look lacy.

KSH is so versatile that you could make almost anything you fancy, so have a think about the ideas we all put forward and flick through some pretty books and see where the urge takes you.

I say save it until your knitting skills level improve, and still make butterfly.

Knit Kiri.  It takes 3 balls of KSH.

The Cobweb shawl from MagKnits is nice and I believe it takes three balls of KSH.  I made a white version for my wedding.
