I'm coming close to finishing the seventh (and last) repeat of IK's flower-basket shawl. At the moment, my shawl seems a little small, even though my gauge was spot-on. I know that it should get bigger with blocking, but how much bigger does it actually get through the blocking process? Should I work an extra repeat, or will blocking take care of all that?

I haven't made that particular shawl, but I know lace often stretches quite a bit during the blocking process.  You could always put what you have now on a holding thread and block it to see how big it will be, then decide how much more to knit.

My laces have blocked out to about 20% increase.

Eunny has a picture on her blog.  She only knit 6 repeats instead of 7.

Towards the bottom of this page, there are notes regarding size....and repeat numbers.

She also says to get an 84" wide Flower Basket Shawl, you must do 17 repeats.

Hope this helps....
