I'm still working on June's squares and can't stand the feeling of being 'behind'.

Hmmmm...I know how you feel! Wink

Horse Power, all your squares look fabulous! And you've done great catching up.

I still have the problem that I don't have enough yarn. I'm in the middle of the last row of the easy square and have made 10 rows of the experienced one, and I don't have any more yarns that I could use in those squares. Luckily it's summer and my mom dyes a lot, so I think I'll get more next time I see her (mid July probably).
Also, I'm moving, and I won't have a computer anymore in July, so I won't be posting pics or anything soon. But I'm still in this crochetalong, I think I can print instructions somewhere and keep crocheting even if I don't have computer at home.

Thank you, heini!
Just have January and March's left to do and I will be caught up!
Your handdyed squares are so lovely, it's going to be an awesome afghan!

Horse power - your colours are just lovely.
As for me, I am managing to post June's in June by the skin of my teeth!

Well, I'm back and ready to post July's squares!  I was away for 10 days and you would think I had lots of time to make these 2 while driving but it wasn't until we were on our way home today that I actually got them finished!

This month's easy square is probably one of the easiest I've picked but I really like it!

Easy

This month's experienced square is different than anything I've ever made - it combines my love of crochet and quilting.  I've made it and while it's not really hard, it just uses some different techniques (sewing) and takes a little bit of figuring (just be sure to read and count carefully and you'll be able to figure out what the designer wants you to do) - there is actually a typo in round 5 but it's easy to figure out.  Have fun with it and I can't wait to see what colors everyone uses for it!

Experienced

I'm done the July squares but my son broke his digital camera on holidays and so I either have to wait until it's fixed or borrow hubby's work one before I can post pictures - hopefully later this week.

Okay, I've finished another one (just have to weave in the ends)! It's the November easy. I've got everything ready for the December easy, and I think I'll start on that tonight. I was going to jump ahead to the butterfly square, but I'm afraid to go out of order...I might not go back! As it was, I made a mistake on the central motif, but didn't want to go back and redo it because I was afraid that I wouldn't want to start again  Tongue

I probably won't be caught up as soon as I originally planned, since it is already July, but I've found that I enjoy working on the squares right before bed, and now that my first craft fair is out of the way, I'll have more time to do some crocheting!

My son finally got his camera back together - he had dropped it during holidays and it wasn't working so he decided to fix it himself.  He had it in literally a million pieces, got it back together only to discover that he still had some parts left over and not all the buttons worked, so he took it apart again.  This morning, he finished putting it back together but still had parts left over, however, now everything works.

So, I can now post pictures!
