i'm anxiously awaiting cooler weather, and i thought making some wool mittens might speed things along.  these are from a Hello Yarn pattern.  i used a heavier yarn, larger needles, and added a gored thumb.  details on the blog

kadreth, those are stupendous. Fabulous job. I have a learning disability when it comes to mittens and intarsia, so I am impressed with anyone who does either well. So in this case, I am doubly impressed.

You should definitely start wearing them around immediately; perhaps it will speed up the coming of cooler weather. And probably get you some quizzical stares from strangers.

Love them!!

I love fair isle squirrels! They always look so cute and cuddly... as opposed to the ones in real life, who steal bird food and eat pizza whenever they can get their paws on it.
