Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

This happens alot when you host pictures from blogger.  Try going directly to her blog to see it.  You will have to scroll down a little bit.  Blogger is very unreliable for image hosting.  You could try flickr or one of the other image host places

Oooh, thanks Bixby, I didn't know that Blogger's image hosting is unreliable.  Here's the image.

What size hook did you use for this, or does it not matter? I'm just starting out with the crocheting and the only hook I have is an F/5... would that be too small?

thanks!! Smiley

it depends on what yarn you're using, but if you're using worsted weight red heart like i did, then yes, F is waaay too small LOL. i think i used... hmm... either a J or K, see what the label recommends on the yarn. i'd use a size bigger than that. good luck!!!

I made a scarf with granny squares. There's a matching hat too, but I gave it my friend's niece because it came out small. I also had little pom poms at the eds, but they got tangled in the wash, and I had to cut them off. I may replace them at some point in the future.

My friend and business partner, Josie is modelling for me:

I would definitely like to partipate in a granny square crochetalong. I have a spool of chanielle I want to use, and I was thinking of making some really cute granny square pillows for my living room. They're offwhite, but I'm going to attempt that I think. It should be easy and cheap to buy the batting to fill them, and they'll be perfect for being couch lazy ;-)
