This was my first beaded or embroidered anything and with the advice of kittykill (thank you so much!!), I think it turned out A-okay!   Grin

I didn't make the pillow it self.  Smiley

This is wonderful!! I like it very much...

A few weeks ago I visited a Frank Lloyd Wright house and in it they had reproducitons of the kind of embroidery that was in houses at the time. I was incredibly inspired by some of it but my favorite was a pillow of a spider and web and blossoms.  == What I like here is your spider - the web glistens with dew but the spider is wonderful - I think I am going to have to make a spider pillow!!

Aww!!  You guys!  What great comments *blush!*

Please tell me how you do it!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

Oh...there isn't much to tell!  As far as the beading, I lightly drew out the web design, sat down with a pile o' beads & went to town for a few hours in front of the TV Wink  I strung three & made a stitch, 3 more & stitch, over and over and over.   Cheesy  I'm sure it would be best to do a single bead at a time, but in this case it gave the web a jagged look that suited it well!  Smiley

The spider is a bit more to explain, but I've seen tutorials for them on Craftster before and there's no sense in me creating a good, solid wheel!   Grin  I searched "beaded spider" and found this one for ya...
Not exactly how I did mine, but it'll do!  Smiley  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111418.0
This one is almost exactly the same as what I did! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111418.0
