I received a request for a Starry Night & since I couldn't pry the original from my fiance's paws... I made another!   Grin

I actually like this one better, but shhh.  LOL  Smiley  I've been melting quite a bit since the original & have improved some of my processes!  This one is much smoother and more glass-like.

The stars & moon glow in the dark on this one as well.  Smiley

Wow, another one?! It's amazing,  of course. It looks a lot more colorful than your first one, and a bit lighter. Great job! I will need to attempt this someday...

Thanks guys Smiley  It is brighter than the first...I knew how certain beads would melt & reflect, so I used them differently this time around.

LaughingLark... yeah, I posted a ton this morning!  I was on a roll.  Smiley

Hmm... not too many tips, it's realllly easy!

I used a cookie sheet lined with tin foil and then laid the pony beads out in the pattern I wanted.  Smiley

One thing, that annoyed me on the first one I did is that there were some foil lines/creases.  So on this one I made sure the foil was absolutely the flattest of flats.  I used my nail to smooth any possible lines.  Not a really great secret, but it's was a pet peeve of mine the first time!  Smiley

375 degrees for about 40 minutes did the trick with my oven.

When it comes out it will be pliable when it's still hot.  If you want to mold it to a different shape, you'll have to work quickly.  Otherwise, you can let it cool or use oven mitts/gloves to pull it from the cookie sheet, flip it & remove the foil.

A drill can be used if you'd like to drill holes for hanging.  I use itty bitty bit and haven't had any problems with any of my pieces so far.
