ok I have a question.  I should know the answer to this (since I'm a computer science minor), but I don't  Undecided

Does posting picutres NOT hosted on craftster's picture hosting affect craftster's bandwidth?

For example, in the "post your mess then clean it up" thread I posted an animated image of clap as a sort of "funny" to one of the craftster who'd cleaned up their craft area.  After the first one, it sort of became a running thing, anyone who posts before and after shot of a once-mess-now-clean craft room, gets a clap.  Let me tell ya, those girls are crazy about the clap over there!! Wink
Anyway, does me posting those image affect the bandwidth of craftster?

(and I know that four or five images won't really affect the bandwidth of a site this huge, but it's just an example. But you get my point.) Smiley

Thanks!

No, since they are not on Craftster's picture hosting.

It would cause that page of the thread to load slower though, wouldn't it?  I would imagine more images on a given page would lengthen its load time...but I could be wrong.   Smiley

By the way... I looked at the animation & I can't imagine it's big enough to actually slow anyone's load time noticably.  Smiley  It's cute & you've got them all riled up over there.   Grin

Smiley yeah I knew more images mean longer load time etc.
They just got me wondering if images hosted somewhere else effects craftster's bandwidth!

Thanks Sweets! I knew I could count on you for an answer!
