hi, i just now came across this thread, so i don't know if you'll see this or not...but i have a an asian paper parasol very similar to yours and i was wondering how you hung it up on the wall? i've been wanting to do something like that with mine, but i'm not quite sure how to secure to the wall without damaging the paper.

What I did when I had a landlord that wouldnt let me paint and was kind of anal about holes was put a strip of painters tape up then get that industrial strenght stick on velcro, that you can get at walmart, put one side on the painters tape and one side on fabric and ta-da. Pretty walls with no damage what so ever.
