Not my Granny's shawl

I started off with a bunch of yarn in my stash and I liked how it all looked together.     
I knit some leaves and appliqued them on.     
  Rather than weaving all of the loose ends in, I decided to braid them for a fringe.  I especially like the picot edge cast-off on the top end.
