I'm going up to Tulare and then Sequoia at the beginning of September, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any great craft or yarn stores out that way. I'm driving up from Orange County.

Just drove through Tulare on the way back from a waterskiing weekend and let me tell you - there is nothing up that way except corn, corn and more corn! But, I wasn't looking for craft stores, hmmm. Let us know if you find anything good!

Yeha, there's not much out there. You might pass some antique or thrift shops when you start getting into the foothills, maybe find interesting stuff there. You have to have a different mindset and appreciate the vast nothingness. The landscpape is quite beautiful.
