All these necklaces have a base of a wooden tab thingy for the pendant. I got a stack of them some time ago, and finally decided to really do something with them.

A graph paper birdie on what I tried to make old-looking wood, like an old fence or something. I also tried to make the wood a little distressed on the edges.

I actually mod podged this clipping from an old Archie comic onto the wood some time ago, but I never got around to doing anything with it. I think it rocks as a necklace, I can't wait to wear it somewhere.

These two images are of the same necklace, which is double-sided. Everyone's always doing stuff with Starburst wrappers, so I wanted to try my hand at them! Smiley I think the red side is a little boring; I like the striped side.

I like the archie necklace... Just curious, what are starbursts? I don't have it here in my country. =)

Why thank you! Smiley Starburst are bite-sized chewy candies in a variety of flavors. The standard flavors are cherry, strawberry, orange, and lemon. Each piece is individually wrapped, so when you eat a package of Starburst you end up with a bunch of wrappers.
