A perfect swap for me! I just started a new job and I look with envy to my colleagues desks. They are all personal looking and look as if they're in use so to say. Mine is just empty.  Embarrassed I need stuff!  Cheesy

Since I'm a noobie and all - which stuff do you admire/envy the most?  Which things?

I'm thinking of doing this swap for my desk at home, instead of at work. Is that cheating? I'm a student, so I spend a massive amount of time there/here. It really needs something to help me stay organized, so I can actually study on it!

I'll have to think about what to wish for, but I do have a magnet board over my desk, so some magnets could come in handy. I'll try to remember to take pictures of the office tomorrow and then join the swap.

No that is cool.  Actually, now that the semester has started, I am not in my office as much as I used to be, so I will probably be doing my at-home office instead of my work one.  Smiley

I know.  I'm excited too.  My desk looks like @#$! right now because I am in the process of relocating my workspace from this old thing to a new nifty desk.  Just haven't had time to clean off the old one and do the moving, what with school and work and all.  Maybe I should get my boyfriend to do it.  After all, I *do* make him dinner and do his laundry.  Smiley

How's everyone doing?  I've got most of the stuff planned out, but I haven't started making anything yet.  I do have most of the materials though, and tomorrow I'm going out to get the rest.  Been busy knitting many a birthday gift lately.

I have several ideas and need to do a bit of shoppage for them. I didn't let myself buy any craft supplies until I had a concrete plan. 'Cause I know I'd go crazy and spend tons of money otherwise.
I finally wrapped up my other projects, so I won't have to divide my craft time. woo!

Hey guys, it has been brought to my attention that not everyone's post office is open on saturdays.  SO I'm extending the sendout date to the 25th (Monday) so that people won't have to give up a day of crafting in order to send on time.

I'm here!! Smiley Sorry - I did see the PM the other day, but then I got distracted by my pile of work (grading period ends Friday!! eek!)

I've got most of it done, one more thing half done, one little thing to do, and another idea that I might do if I have time Saturday Smiley. Yay for the extra day!

All's going well!

OMG OMG OMG shoving a darning needle under your thumbnail hurts like a cast iron b*@%#!!!!!!!  But it's SOOOOOOOOOOO worth it, because what I was working on pre-accident is so cute, and now I want one for my own desk.  Don't worry, it's not blood stained.  I've just got a really sore thumb.  Must remedy with chocolate.

No, i haven't but I will now.  We went on a bit of an 'obsessed with halloween' early candy spree.  So we've been munching on those.  We'll probably have to buy more for the actual event, but it's fun to have a little halloween bowl full of candy on the coffee table.

Well, it was a bag of 150 mini candy bars, a bag of Take 5's and a bag of hershey's mini assortments.  That's a lot of chocolate.  And the only thing I'm totally in love with are the Take 5's.  THEY'RE almost gone.  Wink  The rest is for the boy, and he doesn't have a sweet tooth like I do.

When I lived in Germany, they sold Nutella in a KILOGRAM bottle, instead of the measly little ones we have here.  Imagine, a friggin' KILO of nutella!  Yeah.  Even with all the walking, my butt got quite a bit wider after those few months.

Alrighty folks, everyone has received!  I'm moving thread on over to the closed swaps area.  Hope everyone had a great time and thank you all for making my first time organizing a good one.  We had no flakers, people!  It's a small swap, but any swap without a flaker is a good swap.  Smiley
