This is my first ever knitted project...I cam up with the pattern and everything....it's made entirely in garter stitch and I made the pattern to help me learn some basics like increasing, switching to new colors, and decreasing. Can't forget the pom-poms!  Grin  Ohh...almost forgot...I haven't weaved in the ends yet because I need to buy a tapestry needle. Can't wait to wear it this fall...it was supposed to be a spring scarf (one of the long extra skinny types), but it came out a little to wide and short! hehe...thanks for looking!  Wink

Don't sew in all of the ends. I like the 'distressed' look that the scarf has, as if you're not trying too hard but it looks hip anyway. It's definately something one of these designers would put out, calling it a 'winter wonderland' or something.

Kiss Welcome to the world of knitting young grasshopper.  It is good to see you have patience and drive to learn so many techniques as your scarf looks wonderful and so do you.
